Apps that are user-friendly are hard to find. I've checked out a few of my own and wanted all my viewers to also.
Cut the Rope:
Chances are you've either played or at least heard of
Cut the Rope, the game where your sole purpose is to feed candy to a cute green monster named, Om Nom. The problem? The candy is hanging from a rope that you, as the title implies, need to cut down for Om Nom.
But cutting the rope isn't as easy as it sounds. You'll also need to avoid getting the candy caught on obstacles or stolen by enemies crawling around the level. If your child loves Angry Birds, but needs a change of pace,
Cut the Rope is the way to go.
Fruit Ninja:
Slice and dice fruit as it flies across the screen in this fun, easy-to-learn game. But be careful of bombs that will blow up at the slightest touch and put an end to your marathon slashing sessions.
Fruit Ninja is as easy to play as it is enjoyable, a great fit for the kiddie crowd. A new Puss in Boots edition coinciding with the theatrical release of the Puss in Boots movie is also available.
Barnes and Noble NOOK Kids:
Nook Kids gives users access to Barnes and Noble's growing collection of children's picture eBooks and chapter eBooks. Children can zoom in on pages to get a better look at illustrations or words. A "Read to Me" option automatically narrates books for your kids. Kids can also interact with words and pictures thanks to the app's AliveTouch technology. They can also style and personalize words or pages to their liking.
